°The basic recipe for puff pastry with maple
°2 medium onions, minced
°1/2 cup maple syrup (preferably amber for its rich taste)
°Salt and pepper, to taste
°Flour (for the work surface)
In a non-stick dish, sauté the onions in the maple syrup for around 20 min Salt and pepper. Let cool. On a floured work surface, carry out the puff cake into a 46 cm x 20 cm (18 in x 8 in) square shape. Spread the onion blend over portion of the surface, then, at that point, crease the other portion of the batter over the onions. Cut into strips and curve. Put the turns on the baking sheet and freeze for around 1 hour or until the batter is semi-frozen. Preheat the stove to 200°C (400°F), rack in the center. Prepare for around 20 minutes or until the turns are brilliant brown. Serve warm or cold.
